Welcome to the Iota Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi!
Our mission is to advance the study and practice of Accounting, Finance, and Management Information Systems. We strive to provide our members with opportunities for self- development, community service, and professional networking.
What is Beta Alpha Psi?
Beta Alpha Psi is a national honorary and professional organization for students majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems. Founded in 1919, it’s recognized by the business world as a premier collegiate group that emphasizes academic excellence, ethical responsibility, professional development, and service to the community. This organization is about building character and career readiness through networking and service.
Here’s what makes joining special:
Industry Exposure
Every semester, we host engaging, inspiring, and educational presentations for our members, inviting industry professionals to talk about topics that matter to you. Whether you want to know about industry certifications, what the industry is looking for in a candidate, or how to write a resume and cover letter, we have you covered.
Service- Driven
Members participate in tutoring, hurricane relief drives, and local outreach efforts- combining knowledge with compassion.
Community Engagement
Students join a tight-knit group of motivated individuals, sharing goals and ideas, and peer support throughout our college careers.
Networking Events
Each fall, we host Meet the Firms, a career fair that aims to students who want to break into Accounting and Finance careers. Students have a chance connect face to face with local recruiters and professionals, hand your resumes, and mingle with fellow students. It will be a blast!
