Each semester, our dedicated leadership team works to host engaging meetings and provide meaningful opportunities for members to grow professionally and connect with the Accounting and Finance community. Their passion and efforts are not only felt within our chapter- they’re showcased nationally, as they proudly present their initiatives and achievements at Beta Alpha Psi’s Mid- Year and Annual Meetings. Together, they help foster an environment of excellence, service, and leadership at UWF.

Austin Delcher
PRESIDENT
Austin is an enthusiastic MAcc student specializing in professional accountancy, with a vibrant passion for the tax field. He is driven by a desire to help others and make a positive impact on their financial well-being. Austin’s dedication to service shines through his volunteer work with the VITA program at the local United Way, where he joyfully assists low-income individuals with their tax returns. His blend of academic excellence and community involvement showcases his determination to use his skills for the greater good, all while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude.

Grant Mills
VICE PRESIDENT
Grant is an intern at Anglin Reichmann Armstrong and is a dual major student in Finance and Accounting. He was driven to BAP leadership by a desire to help others and provide further assistance to the club in whatever way he can. Grant’s goal for his tenure is to help grow BAP to its fullest potential on and off campus. Upon completion of his undergrad in 2026, Grant plans to enter the master’s program with his sights set on attaining both the CPA and CFA. Grant’s goal is to use these tools to setup his own firm with the end goal of assisting the under privileged in his hometown.

Coleman Elam
SECRETARY
Coleman is an ambitious BSBA student specializing in professional accountancy. He was born and raised in Texas and moved to the Florida panhandle with his family in 2022. Outside of his studies, Coleman enjoys playing tennis, fishing, and mountain biking. Coleman is currently working at Jones & Co. CPAs and Advisors in Pensacola. After he graduates in the Fall of 2025, he plans to advance his education by pursuing a Master’s in Accountancy and ultimately obtaining a CPA license.

Leland Seaton
TREASURER
Leland is a proud graduate of the University of West Florida and is currently working on his Master’s in Accountancy. He has lived in Florida his entire life and is currently a graduate assistant in the Department of Accounting and Finance, where he’s always happy to help anyone who stops by with a question or need. He has been a dedicated member of the Iota Phi Chapter for several years, before deciding to give back to the organization that has meant so much to him. One of his favorite parts of the chapter is working with VITA to provide tax services to the community.

Hallie Goward
PUBLIC RELATIONS
As an accounting student, she is excited to start her internship at Saltmarsh in the fall of 2025. Here goal is to pursue the accounting master’s program at UWF and earn her CPA. When she is not working, she loves taking long walks and immersing herself in the beauty of nature. It helps her clear her mind and stay grounded. She enjoys watching documentaries on Netflix, which allows her to continuously learn and stay inspired. After she reaches her CPA goal, she would like to start a new hobby of traveling the world.

Dr. Barbara White
FACULTY ADVISOR
Dr. Barbara S. White received her Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, her Masters in Business Administration from Auburn University - Montgomery, and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Millsaps College. She has run marathons in all 50 states and on all 7 continents. She is also a Six Star Finisher of the Abbott World Marathon Majors series, running marathons in Boston, Chicago, New York, London, Berlin, and Tokyo.
